When he got close enough to the town he saw a Saloon and decided that was the place he could parhaps sell his gecko meat and get some whiskey. After retreiving nearly 25 pounds of gecko meat he decided to look for a town that might purchase the fresh meat.Īfter he packed up he started driving his motocycle a short ways away from where he spent the last night, he then spotted a town called Goodsprings. "Can't say I blame you for going after the steaks." He said in a humorous tone to the corpses of the dead geckos."Hell, I ought to not let this good meat go to waste." He said to himself after eating his steak and pork n' beans he decided to fillet the two geckos he'd killed. 45 ACP and shot the first gecko in the head, he made quick work of the second one with a single bullet to it's heart. After hearing some quick footsteps behind him Reaper quickly spun around and pulled out his. The smell of the brahim steak sizzling on the metal pan had attracted some geckos.
After it took him nearly ten minutes to set up his tent he went straight to sleep but made sure to keep one eye open because of the stories he rembered his mother telling him about his great-great grandfather the vault dweller and his cousin, the tribal, they both were after all, heroes.Īfter waking up and making breakfast with what was left of the last of his brahim meat and pork n' beans, he made a mental note to make sure to hunt something to eat later. As he stopped his motocycle and hopped off he then put up the kick stand and took off his doufle bag and started to fish out his tent.
"Damn, it's getting dark, I should set up camp," Reaper quitely thought to himself. for reports of Enclave activity, the reason for going north was because just on the other side of the colarado was an army of slavers called the Legion, whom are less than sympathetic towards NCR rangers. Note: This is the first installment in a new series I'll be writing Fake Fullscreen Mode Windowed runs the game in windowed mode, which some report as helpful in preventing crashes (more info in its New Vegas Nexus page here).Disclaimer: I do not own fallout or claim to own fallout or any of it's properties CASM (Cipscis' Automatic Save Manager) allows for an incremental auto-save function specified by a time preset (can also be done manually through a hotkey), allowing you to load a savegame close to when FNV crashed. NV Stutter Remover modifies the game to be more "stable" (more info on its New Vegas Nexus page here). I have personally tried NV Stutter Remover and CASM.

( Source) This is because when the game is launched via Steam, it opens the launcher first, which overwrites your Fallout.ini file with the contents of the Fallout_default.ini file, along with your launcher settings. (Note: In Fallout New Vegas, Most tweaks which would normally go in the Fallout.ini file in Fallout 3 actually need to be made in the Fallout_default.ini file found under the \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas directory in Fallout: New Vegas. Open up the fallout.ini file in: My Documents\My Games\Fallout3
I haven't had it freeze once since I did this several days ago. You can force the game to only use two of them and it will stop the freezing. The game engine has some issues with processors that have more than 2 cores. Please Note: Even though this was written with Fallout 3 in mind, it also works for Fallout New Vegas.
If you have a multi-core machine, you may want to try these instructions: Fallout 3 (and New Vegas): Video/Display Freezes, sound keeps going
